We skeptics are shocked it could happen so fast:

Not barely a month of his term has flown past

And Obama’s already been floating creation 

Of brand new bureaucracies aimed at a nation

Whose folks are exposed to intensive bereavement

O’ver loss of its capitalistic achievement.

 

Our socialization is making big strides,

New centralized planners will soon be our guides.

A Middle Class Task force is newly-appointed

By The One, who must feel like he’s duly anointed

To run people’s lives in a way he sees fit;

We’ll be a success to the length he’ll permit!

 

He’s also creating a U. S. Director

In the Health Information Technology sector

To gather our data in centralized banks –

For programs like this we’re supposed to give thanks?

We accept these new bureaus with very few questions,

But please let us make these few humble suggestions.

 

Let’s set up an office that seeks to control

Those CEO salaries, meeting the goal

Of leveling rich guys to commonplace status.

Because by the short hairs they’ve recently had us,

We’ll teach’em a lesson they all need to learn:

Obama will tell them how much they can earn!

 

It’s now a known fact that significant sources

Of greenhouse-type gas are secreted from horses

Due to feed that can also cause flatulent sheep;

The odor alone can make manly-men weep!

Let’s set up the Bureau of Foodstuff for Stock,

To prevent global warmth and olfactory shock!

 

We’ll fortify OSHA to cling like a leach

To private-owned workplaces in its long reach.

We’ll manage employees right down to their perks;

Like France, we’ll determine how long each one works.

We’ll demand that our office chairs fit us just right;

In Vegas, we’ll regulate girls of the night!

 

There’s a ton of Barackracies yet to be seen,

Like those to grow welfare or make us all green.

It’s what you’d expect from Barack the Big-Hearted,

A person whose socialist path was well-charted.

The train toward a leftist ideal has departed,

So buckle your seat belts, we’ve only just started!
